Exactly one week after the launch of the away kit, Macron Shamrock Rovers FC have unveiled the new home kit that Ireland’s most successful club will wear throughout the coming season. The kit will be worn for the first time during the Conference League match on 12 December at 9.00 pm, when Shamrock Rovers FC will host Borac Banja Luka in Dublin.
The new 2025 home shirt The Shamrock Rovers FC kit features, as is traditional, horizontal green and white stripes, with a white knitted polo collar edged with thin green lines. The green stripes also feature a sublimated pattern in three different shades of green, representing the football topped by the shamrock found at the centre of the club’s crest. The same design also appears on the inner label at the back of the neck, personalised with the club crest, the Macron logo and the inscription “Designed in Bologna”, emphasising that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the chest, the ‘Macron Hero’ logo appears in green silicone on the right-hand side, whilst on the left is a badge featuring the club crest, produced using silicone printing on a polyester base. Finally, the outer back of the neck is personalised with an embroidered Irish flag. The kit is completed by shorts modelled on basketball shorts, entirely green with two white stripes along the thigh, and white-and-green socks with horizontal stripes, which also feature the acronym S.R.F.C.
Like all the kits Macron produces for his clubs, this one is also made from fabrics Eco Fabric, namely the 100%, made from post-consumer recycled PET – a choice that reaffirms the strong commitment shared by Macron and his clubs to environmental sustainability and care for the environment. Specifically, all the kits are made from Eco Softlock, with inserts in Eco mesh e Eco Micromesh to ensure greater lightness and breathability.
