Barbarian F.C., iconic invitational rugby club, and Macron, technical partner of the “BaaBaas”, they presented the New Game Set and the Training Jersey for next season’s international fixtures. The club, which has become a fixture in the world of rugby, will celebrate its 135th anniversary next year.

An iconic club, an iconic shirt, featuring the traditional black and white horizontal stripes, which feature again this year on both the front and back, but with a new twist. The white used for the horizontal stripes is, in fact, off-white – a less bright shade that lends the shirt a vintage, traditional look. Similarly, the black stripes feature a subtle sublimation-printed design that evokes the fabric of traditional cotton rugby shirts. The collar is a polo-style collar with a two-button fastening, in keeping with tradition. The back of the neck is personalised with a black-backed label bearing the logo of the Barbarian F.C.., the Macron logo and the text Designed in Bologna, to certify and highlight that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the right-hand side of the chest, in black and using sublimation printing, is the Macron the Hero, whilst the club crest is on the left. On the outside of the back of the collar, in black on a white background, is the inscription ‘FLAIR – COURAGE – SPIRIT – PASSION’, alongside the club crest.

The new jersey also features a design on the shoulders, sleeves and lower back, where an embossed pattern has been created comprising a repeated interlacing of the historic Barbarians logo. The kit is completed by the traditional “total black” shorts. As is customary, the socks are those that players usually wear for their home clubs. The kit is available in a Player body-fit version, as well as in the Supporters Poly Replica format, in addition to the traditional Cotton Replica in both long-sleeved and short-sleeved styles.

Along with the game set, the Rugby TRain Jersey, a crew-neck jumper featuring an innovative design of thin horizontal stripes in the colours of the rainbow against a black background. Both jumpers have been made from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric % made from post-consumer plastic, which demonstrates the commitment to environmental protection of both the club and the technical sponsor.
