The nickname ‘The Potters’ which identifies the players of the Stoke City FC stems from Stoke-on-Trent’s historic ties and industrial past with the ceramics industry. In this Staffordshire town and the surrounding areas, it is common to see factories and kilns for bottles and ceramics, which have become a symbol of identity for the local people. It is precisely the distinctive shape of these historic kilns that characterises the Stoke City FC’s new ‘Home’ kit made by Macron and which the Potters will wear throughout the 2024/25 season in the Championship – their ninth season with the Macron Hero logo on their shirts.
The new ‘Home 2024–25’ The Stoke City FC home kit features the traditional red and white vertical stripes, printed using sublimation, in a wide, bold design. The shirt has a crew neck with a black trim, a colour also featured on the sleeve hems.
