Standard Liège have unveiled the new 2026/27 Third Kit, created by Macron, technical partner of Les Rouches. A shirt that reinterprets the Belgian club’s identity through a contemporary design that is both clean and rich in detail, where aesthetic research, innovation and performance come together in a garment with a striking visual impact. Its distinctive character is further enhanced by the use of the new Eco 3D Knit jacquard fabrics developed by the Macron Style Centre for the 2026/27 season, engineered to deliver outstanding performance alongside a structured and refined aesthetic.
The new Standard Liège 2026/27 Third shirt comes in a sky-blue colourway with a V-neck finished with a black trim and fluorescent yellow details, a colour combination that is also echoed on the sleeve cuffs. Both the front and back of the shirt feature a pattern of intersecting diagonal lines which, thanks to the innovative construction of the new Eco 3D Knit – Laser fabric, creates a refined three-dimensional effect, adding depth and dynamism to the entire surface of the garment.
The identity of the city of Liège is reflected in the shoulders and sleeves, which are produced in a lighter shade of blue and enhanced by a flame-inspired graphic, an element long associated with the imagery of Standard. The reference is to La Cité Ardente (The Fiery City), the nickname given to the Walloon city following its siege by Charles the Bold in 1468, when Liège burned for several weeks. Since then, flames have become a symbol of the passion, determination and independent spirit that define both the city and its football club.
Embroidered in black on the chest are the Macron Hero and the Standard Liège crest, while the club motto, PASSION, FIERTÉ, FERVEUR, appears on the outer back neck.
The shirt is made from Eco 3D Knit – Laser, a new jacquard fabric developed by Macron using a combination of three different yarn weaves. Part of Macron’s Eco Fabrics range, made from 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, this hybrid construction distributes performance characteristics where they are needed most, providing greater durability in high-stress areas, elasticity in flat-knit sections and dedicated ventilation zones to enhance breathability. The innovative weaving process also gives the garment an elegant three-dimensional effect, enriching both its visual appeal and tactile feel.
The kit is completed by black shorts with sky-blue drawstrings and thigh trims featuring a sky-blue band bordered by two fine black and yellow stripes. The socks combine sky blue and light blue, with a sequence of fine horizontal stripes of varying thickness around the upper section.
The new Standard Liège 2026/27 Third Kit and the rest of the collection created by Macron for the club will soon be available in the dedicated section on macron.com.
