The Football Federation of Armenia and Macron present the new 2026/27 Home and Away shirts for the Armenian national team. The new collection brings together the country’s cultural heritage and the contemporary identity of the national team, reinterpreting some of the most distinctive ornamental elements of Armenian manuscript art. The project transforms forms and motifs developed centuries ago by scribes and artists into a new visual expression of Armenian culture.
The new 2026/27 Home shirt features a burgundy base with an all-over embossed motif characterised by stylised bird forms, reinterpreted from the ornamental tradition of Armenian manuscripts. Birds, botanical elements, geometric structures and other decorative figures are recurring features of Armenian manuscript art, where they were used to frame texts, embellish initial letters and create elaborate compositions.
The burgundy base is paired with cream-coloured details used for the crew-neck trim, sleeve cuffs and graphic elements on the sides. On the chest, the Macron Hero and the Football Federation of Armenia crest are presented in the same colour palette as the kit.
The concept of the new 2026/27 Away shirt instead draws inspiration from the elaborate ornamental motifs found in the margins and decorative sections of Armenian manuscripts. On an off-white base, the design features a vertical band running across the front of the shirt and extending along the left side, reinterpreting the geometries and colours typical of this ancient art form through a contemporary lens. The motif combines shades of burgundy, red, blue and orange, creating a distinctive graphic element that stands out against the light-coloured base of the shirt.
The collar and sleeve cuffs feature burgundy details, as do the Macron Hero and the Football Federation of Armenia crest applied to the chest.
Both shirts share a series of elements dedicated to the identity of the national team. The inner backneck label features a half-burgundy, half-cream base, displaying the FFA crest, the Macron logo and the wording Designed in Bologna, highlighting that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
From a technical perspective, both shirts have a Slim fit and are made using fabrics from the Eco Fabric range, produced from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. The main fabric is Eco Softlock, while the back panel is made from Eco Micromesh, a solution designed to promote air circulation and breathability. The finishing details are completed with inserts and piping in Eco Softlock and Eco Mesh, helping to provide lightness, comfort and durability during competitive play.
The new 2026/27 Game Set of the Armenian national team is completed by shorts and socks coordinated with the respective shirts, echoing their colours and key graphic elements. The Home kit is paired with burgundy shorts and socks featuring cream details, while the Away kit features off-white shorts and socks enriched with burgundy and cream details.
