Two weeks before the launch of the home kit, the Connacht Rugby, an Irish club which joined the big family of Macron rugby, revealed the new away kit for the 2024/2025 season. Silver and navy blue are the colours of the away kit, which features sophisticated and elegant graphics.

The Connacht Rugby’s new away shirt It features a navy blue polo collar with petrol green detailing, a colour also found on the sleeve hems. The shoulders, sleeves and upper part of the shirt are navy blue, which gradually fades downwards to a dark silver and then a light silver. The back, on the other hand, is entirely light silver. The graphic design on the shirt consists of a series of very fine, broken tone-on-tone lines that create a movement reminiscent of a sound wave. On the front, the design is a sublimation print, whilst on the shoulders and sleeves it is embossed, with a slight raised effect.

The back of the neck is personalised with a dark green label featuring two diagonal stripes in a brighter shade of green (colours taken from the home shirt) bearing the logo of the Connacht Rugby next to the Macron logo and the text Designed in Bologna, to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. The Macron the Hero, in silver, is positioned in the centre of the chest and is printed using the sublimation process; to its left, also in silver and printed using the sublimation process, is the Irish club’s crest.

The away kit is completed by navy blue shorts with white drawstrings and silver socks with a navy blue top edge, featuring two horizontal stripes in petrol green – the same colour as the three inverted triangles on the calf. The shirt has a fit Body Fit and is made from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric derived from recycled post-consumer plastic, which Macron uses for all its partner clubs. The main fabric used is Eco-Armevo and the inclusion of inserts made of Eco-Boditex e Eco-Strong Mesh They ensure high performance and durability for the head, combined with lightness and excellent breathability.
