The Bristol Rovers F.C., an English club competing in EFL League One, has announced the New Home Kit that the ‘Pirates’ will wear throughout the coming competitive season. A kit designed to pay tribute to all the players who, over the course of the club’s 141-year history, have worn the iconic Bristol club shirt. The iconic blue-and-white quarters into which the shirt is divided serve as the perfect ‘pages’ on which to tell the story of the Bristol club’s pride, passion, sense of belonging and legacy. It is a shirt that looks to the future whilst paying tribute to the past, to the people and to the community that the team represents.

The Bristol Rovers F.C.’s new 2024/25 home shirt preserves the traditional white and blue colours and the block-colour pattern, with the upper blocks smaller and the lower ones larger. However, the dividing lines between the different blocks are not crisp and perfectly perpendicular, but slightly irregular, creating a spray-painted effect through sublimation printing. The collar is a knitted crew neck, featuring alternating blue and white stripes, as do the sleeve cuffs. The back of the neck is customised with the same quartered pattern featuring irregular edges that characterises the shirt’s design. The club logo appears on the right-hand side of the label, whilst the left-hand side features the Macron logo and the text ‘Designed in Bologna’ which certifies that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. Embroidered in blue on the chest is the Macron the Hero on the right, whilst on the left is the coat of arms of the Bristol Rovers F.C., made from blue silicone on a white base with a suede-effect finish.

The distinctive design feature of the ‘Pirates’ new home shirt is the all-over, tone-on-tone sublimation print of the names of the players who have proudly worn the Bristol club’s shirt over the years. An image of two intertwined sabres is printed in white on the back of the collar. The kit is completed by blue basketball-style shorts with a drawstring and white leg trims, whilst the blue socks feature two horizontal white stripes down the centre.

The new Bristol Rovers F.C. home kit, like all the shirts produced by Macron for its partner clubs, is made from Eco Fabric, a fabric produced entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic. The fit is Slim Fit and The jumper is made from fabric Eco Softlock featuring a panel made of Eco Micromesh on the back and Eco Mesh inserts, which make the garment lighter and more breathable.
