Glasgow Warriors, who compete in the United Rugby Championship, have unveiled their new 2026/27 Home Kit, designed by Macron, the club’s technical partner since 2013. A long-standing relationship that, season after season, has led to the development of collections that interpret the Warriors’ identity through a balance of aesthetic research, performance and a sense of belonging, translating the symbols and references of Scottish tradition into the design.
The new 2026/27 Home Shirt features a black base enhanced by blue details and a tartan pattern across the entire surface. Created using tone-on-tone sublimation printing, the pattern draws inspiration from one of the most recognisable elements of Scottish culture and creates a distinctive graphic effect against the black background. Tartan also features in the shirt’s details, with inserts in different shades of blue and grey defining the sleeve cuffs and vertical side panels.
The design is completed by a V-neck collar, featuring a blue trim that echoes the colours of the kit. On the chest, the Macron Hero is applied in white on the right-hand side, while the Glasgow Warriors crest patch is positioned on the left.
The club’s identity is also reflected in the inner and outer collar details. Inside, a customised blue tape features the words “WHATEVER IT TAKES” in black, the Glasgow Warriors’ motto, which is also reproduced in white on the outer back neck. The back neck also features a customised label in the club’s blue and black colours, displaying the club crest, the Macron Hero and the wording Designed in Bologna, a distinctive element of Macron collections that certifies the conception, design and development of the kits at the Macron Campus.
The Home Kit is completed by black shorts, featuring a blue drawstring, and fully black socks, creating a coordinated look with the shirt.
The new 2026/27 Home Kit is developed in a Slim Fit and made using fabrics from the Eco Fabric range, produced from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. The main fabric is Eco Armevo, complemented by Eco Bodytex and Eco Strong Mesh inserts, designed to combine lightness, durability and high breathability. A technical construction developed to provide players with comfort and freedom of movement throughout every phase of the game.
