Just a few weeks on from their historic victory in the United Rugby Championship – the second in their history – the Glasgow Warriors They are already looking ahead to the new competitive season, which kicks off in two days’ time at the Lanfranchi Stadium against Zebre Parma. The Scottish club has in fact unveiled the New Home kits e Alternate 2024/25 made by Macron, which, through the colours and symbols featured in the design of the shirts, express the Glasgow Warriors’ identity and sense of belonging to their history and their local area.

The new Glasgow Warriors home shirt it is ‘’all black', with a mandarin collar. The graphic motif that characterises the shirt is the traditional Celtic knot, repeated in an embossed pattern on both the front and back. This is a traditional element of Celtic heritage, reflecting the club’s strong ties to the history and cultural identity of the region it represents: the Glasgow area, the west of Scotland and the regions of Caledonia. On the right side of the chest, embroidered in white, is the Macron the Hero, on the left the coat of arms of the Glasgow Warriors in a monochrome white version on a black background. The back of the neck is personalised with a label featuring the club’s colours, the distinctive graphic found on both shirts, the Glasgow Warriors logo, the Macron logo and the text ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is designed, engineered and developed in-house Macron Campus. Also inside the collar is a personalised sweatband featuring the club’s motto ‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’, which is also printed in white on the outside of the back of the collar. The black shorts feature the shirt’s graphic design on the sides and at the top of the back, whilst the socks – also black – bear the Macron Hero logo on the front and the words ‘GLASGOW WARRIORS’ on the back.

The version Alternate, also with a mandarin collar, is blue with large white horizontal stripes on the front, back and sleeves. Inside the light blue stripes is a sublimation-printed design featuring a Celtic knot. The back of the neck is personalised, as in the Home version. The tape inside the collar also features the club’s motto, ‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’, also printed in black on the outside of the back of the collar. The Macron Hero logo is embroidered in black on the chest alongside the Scottish club’s crest. The shorts are white with horizontal white and light blue stripes down the sides, the latter featuring the same graphic pattern as the shirt on the inside. The light blue socks feature a horizontal white band in the centre with a thin black line.

Both kits, like all those produced by Macron for its clubs, are made from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic. The main fabric used is Eco Armevo and the inclusion of inserts made of Eco Boditex e Eco Strong Mesh, ensuring high performance and durability, as well as lightness and excellent breathability. The new 2024–2025 kits, along with the garments from the clothing range produced by Macron for the Glasgow Warriors, are available in the section dedicated to the Scottish club on macron.com.
