On the eve of the match against Blau-Weiß Linz, in the Admiral Bundesliga title play-offs, Macron has unveiled the new 2025/26 Home Kit of the’FK Austria Wien, the most successful Austrian club of all time. A shirt that reflects the strong bond between the Veilchen (‘Violetti’) with its home town and which, as with every Macron partner club, also conveys a clear message of sustainability and respect for the environment, being made entirely from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric (%) made from post-consumer recycled plastic.
The new FK Austria Wien Home Kit It is an expression of identity and a sense of belonging, combined with the sartorial quality, creativity and design that are the hallmarks of Macron, which has been the Austrian club’s technical partner since last year and is a leading brand in the world of sportswear. The tradition of the colour purple, which has always characterised Austria Wien, is enhanced on both the front and back by a sublimated, gradient, tone-on-tone graphic depicting a map of the historic Austrian capital. With ‘Favoriten’ (10th) on the chest, ‘Simmering’ (11th) on the sleeves, and ‘Floridsdorf’ (21st) and ‘Donaustadt’ (22nd) on the back, the four districts with the highest number of members have thus been immortalised on a single shirt.
The shirt has a crew neck with a trim featuring two thin red and white stripes; this colour scheme is also repeated on the sleeve cuffs – another tribute to the city of Vienna. On the right-hand side of the chest is the Macron the Hero and on the left, the logo of the’FK Austria Wien, made from silicone and featuring a 3D effect. The name of the club, ‘AUSTRIA’, is printed on the outer back of the collar in whiteVIENNA’, whilst at the front, on the bottom of the jersey, there is a personalised inner tape bearing the words ‘STOLZ UNSERER STADT’ (The pride of our town), repeated and interspersed with the club crest. The back of the neck features a personalised label with a background that echoes the shirt’s design, the club logo above which the word ‘VEILCHEN’ appears, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’ which certifies that each garment is designed, planned and developed in Macron Campus.
The home kit is completed by purple shorts with black drawstrings and red-and-white detailing on the sides and at the top of the thighs. The purple socks feature two thin red-and-white stripes along the top edge. The new ‘Home’ kit has a fit Slim fit. The main fabric used is Eco Exalock. The rear panel with Eco Baimi and the inserts in Eco Mesh make the garment lighter and more breathable.
