A club’s logos define its identity. A fan’s passion and creativity can give rise to a design that celebrates the 120th anniversary of a historic German football club. This is what happened with Arminia Bielefeld. The 120th anniversary is being celebrated with a Anniversary Kit whose design was chosen in a competition involving the fans of the The Armenians. In the end, out of the nearly 500 entries received from over 250 designers, the project submitted by Arthur – a keen enthusiast of creation and multimedia design – was selected. Macron He then went on to produce the special kit.
A special kit to celebrate a special birthday, featuring not only the German club’s traditional colours but also all the logos that have identified the team from its inception to the present day, starting with the first one on the chest, which has been redesigned in a gold, embossed version.
The Arminia Bielefeld Anniversary Kit It features a V-neck in knit fabric with fine gold stripes, a colour detail also found on the sleeve hems. The body of the shirt is white with a wide vertical blue stripe down the centre; this colour also appears on the shoulders and sleeves. The back of the neck is personalised with a two-colour label – white and blue – featuring a background that echoes the jersey’s design, the Arminia Bielefeld 120th-anniversary logo, the Macron logo and the inscription ‘Designed in Bologna’ which certifies that each garment is designed, planned and developed in Macron Campus of the Italian brand.

The design of the Anniversary Kit features an all-over, tone-on-tone pattern on both the front and back, comprising all the logos that have characterised Arminia Bielefeld from the very first in 1905 right up to the latest one adopted in 2021.
The jumper has a slim fit and is made from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic, underlining the green philosophy – a commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment – shared by Arminia Bielefeld and Macron. Specifically, the fabric used is Eco Piola, which combines softness and elasticity with a distinct retro touch. The back panel with Eco Baimi and the inserts in Eco Mesh make the garment lighter and more breathable.
