AJ Auxerre, the French Ligue 1 club with a history stretching back over a century, and Macron, a leading international brand in the teamwear sector and technical partner of the Diplomates since the 2017 season, present the new 2026/27 Home Kit, which will see the team through the coming season at the Abbé-Deschamps Stadium. The kit pays homage to the iconic one worn by AJ Auxerre in the 1995/96 season, when the club won the league title for the first time, also achieving a historic ‘Double’ by winning the Coupe de France.
The new AJ Auxerre 2026/27 Home shirt comes in white, featuring a navy-blue polo collar and sleeve cuffs in the same colour. The distinctive feature of the design – a tribute to the home kit from the historic 1995/96 season – is found on the sleeves, where a royal blue graphic is printed, offering a modern and dynamic reinterpretation of a detail taken from the arms of the Maltese cross, combined with a stripe that runs the entire length of the sleeve from the shoulder to the cuff.
On the chest, both in blue silicone print, are the Macron Hero on the right and the AJ Auxerre crest on the left. On the outer backneck, just below the collar, the wording AJ AUXERRE is embroidered in blue. The inner backneck is customised with a blue label featuring vertical stripes alternating the Maltese Cross motif and the club’s founding year, together with the AJ Auxerre logo, the Macron logo and the wording Designed in Bologna, highlighting the concept, design and development process that takes shape at the Macron Campus.
The kit is completed by white shorts featuring a navy-blue drawstring and royal-blue side bands. The white socks feature a thin blue stripe on the upper edge and display the Maltese Cross on the front, with the Macron Hero positioned below it, while on the back, just above the ankle, the acronym AJA is printed in blue.
Like all garments produced by Macron for its partner clubs, AJ Auxerre’s Home Kit is made using Eco Fabric, fabrics created from 100% recycled polyester obtained from post-consumer plastic. Specifically, Eco Softlock has been used for the shirt, a technical fabric developed specifically for match kits, combining lightness and tear resistance. The Eco Baimi back panel and Eco Mesh inserts also ensure high levels of breathability and comfort, guaranteeing optimal performance during sporting activity.
