A few days after the announcement of the new partnership with Shamrock Rovers FC, Macron and the Irish club have unveiled their new away kit for the 2024/2025 season. The team will wear the new kit as early as tonight’s Conference League match against Rapid Vienna, scheduled for 9 pm in the Austrian capital.
The Away Kit It is predominantly lilac in colour, but features an all-over sublimation print that draws inspiration from the design of one of the club’s historic away shirts worn during the 1993/94 season. The graphic features various shades ranging from lilac to purple, creating subtle darker bands across the main body of the shirt and on the sleeves. The V-neck is predominantly purple, with knitted inserts in the centre comprising alternating white and green stripes, which are also featured on the sleeve hems. The back of the neck is personalised with a design inspired by the club’s colours, the club crest, the Macron logo and the lettering “Designed in Bologna”, emphasising that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus, whilst the Irish flag is embroidered on the outside. The Macron Hero logo is positioned on the right-hand side of the chest in white silicone edged with purple, whilst the club crest is featured on the left-hand side in purple on a white background. The shorts are lilac with purple triangular bands on the sides and a thigh band featuring a white-green-white stripe. Finally, the socks are lilac, with a white band at the top crossed by a green stripe. Here too, the acronym S.R.F.C. appears in purple on the front.
Like all the kits Macron produces for his clubs, this one is also made from fabrics Eco Fabric, namely the 100%, made from post-consumer recycled PET – a choice that reaffirms the strong commitment shared by Macron and his clubs to environmental sustainability and care for the environment. Specifically, all the kits are made from Eco Softlock, with inserts in Eco mesh e Eco Micromesh to ensure greater lightness and breathability.
