On the 114th anniversary of the Club’s foundation, the Bologna FC 1909 has unveiled the latest of its match kits for the 2023–24 season. In the new third kit Red and blue intertwine in an immersive and striking optical design. Like the Home and Away versions, this kit is also made entirely from fabrics Eco Fabric, the 100% made from recycled plastic, underlining the shared commitment of Macron and Bologna FC 1909 to the environment and sustainability.

Bologna’s new optical kit features a crew neck with a blue knitted trim – a shade that also appears on the sleeve cuffs, where it is paired with a thin horizontal red line. It is against the white background of the shirt that wavy, abstract lines intertwine to create the optical effect. The back of the collar is personalised with Bologna’s colours, the slogan “LO SQUADRONE CHE TREMARE IL MONDO FA” and the logo Macron and the inscription ‘Designed in Bologna’, which certifies that every garment is conceived, designed and developed in the’Technical sponsor’s headquarters. The words “WE ARE ONE” – the club’s slogan – are printed in red on the outer back of the neck. On the chest, in silicone print, on the right in blue, the Macron the Hero, on the left, on the heart side, the logo of the Bologna FC 1909.

There are three options for the shorts: the brand-new red pair with a blue drawstring and a blue diagonal stripe on the front right thigh and the back left thigh, or alternatively the white or blue shorts with red diagonal stripes, both of which have already been unveiled as part of the home and away kits. The blue socks feature the word ‘BOLOGNA’ in red on the front, the same colour as the ‘V’ on the calf.

The new third kit has a fit Body Fit. The main fabric used is Eco Fabric, specifically Eco Sirena Light and the presence of the panel in Eco Micromesh on the back makes the garment lighter and more breathable.
