An important anniversary, to be celebrated with a special kit. Exactly 100 years on from the birth of the BFU (Bulgarian Football Union), founded on 16 December 1923, the Bulgarian national team has unveiled its new Third Kit. A shirt whose golden colour scheme highlights and celebrates the history of the Bulgarian Football Union, whilst also conveying a strong message of sustainability. All Macron kits – Macron being the technical sponsor of the Bulgarian Football Union from this year onwards – are in fact made from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic.

The Third It has a navy blue polo collar, the same colour as on the shoulders and sleeves, with gold and white stripes along the edges. The main body, front and back, is gold in colour and features a tone-on-tone embossed design inspired by the flooring of the Great Basilica of Pliska, one of the largest in medieval south-eastern Europe and a historic symbol of Bulgaria. The same embossed design also appears on the navy blue shoulders and sleeves. Inside the collar, the back neck is personalised against a white and gold background with the national team’s logo, the Macron logo and the inscription ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the’Headquarters of the Italian brand.

On the chest, in navy blue and on the right, the Macron the Hero, on the left, on the heart side, the coat of arms of the Bulgarian national team, all in the same colour. On the outside of the back of the collar is the distinctive BFU logo created for the centenary, which is also entirely in navy blue. The kit is completed by shorts, basketball style, navy blue with white drawstrings and a thigh band featuring two gold stripes with a white stripe in the centre. The gold socks have a navy blue knitted top.

The jumper has a fit Slim fit, the main fabric is Eco Softlock. The presence of the rear panel in Eco Micromesh and the inserts in Eco Mesh They ensure the garment is lightweight and perfectly breathable.
