Silvia Cavalli holds the role of Customer Experience Manager within the sales office of Macron Alongside Area Managers in several European markets.. His career in the company began with an internship for his bachelor’s thesis and, thanks to commitment and determination, he earned a permanent position in the team. Over the years, he assumed increasingly more responsibilities, assisting an Area Manager in the operational management of the teams directly supervised by the company. Today, he oversees the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus as well as the National Amateur League.
As a sports enthusiast, Silvia knows the value of “wearing a jersey” very well and approaches every workday with enthusiasm and determination: “It’s not just about going to work. We really put in the effort. Every morning I wake up with the idea of doing something new, something meaningful.”.

Growing every day
Experience and time are key elements for personal and professional growth. “I entered as a student and today I am a senior figure in an office that has seen me grow and develop,” says Silvia. This journey has allowed her to assume new responsibilities, manage complex situations and work independently, while remaining in constant collaboration with the various business departments.
“I am very proud of my work, which has made me mature both professionally and personally. Mistakes can happen, but the important thing is to learn from them and find new ideas and insights to improve.”.

The satisfaction of seeing a project realized
There are moments of great satisfaction in everyday work. Following a project from start to finish is a rewarding experience: from signing the contract to meeting new people, from managing the production process to the finished product.
“When I see the jerseys the teams wear, when it appears on social media and I read the fans‘ comments, I think: ’I’ve done a good job.” Even though there have been difficult days, in the end this is the most beautiful part.” This is complemented by the opportunity to interact with so many people, both within and outside the company, to discover new cultures and to collaborate with those who share a passion for sports.

New challenges and goals for the future
Silvia has clear ideas about what she wants for her future: to continue growing. “I don’t want to stop. Every year has been different from the previous one and I want to maintain this trajectory. I want to improve in management and show that I always give my best, even when there are new challenges.”.
For her, working at Macron means growth, opportunities, and teamwork. “I am a curious person, open to new experiences, and I try to take in everything I can from every situation.”.

The importance of relationships
Silvia’s sporting experience in competitive synchronized skating has taught her the value of teamwork, a principle that she also finds in her daily work.
“Macron is a company where sport and work intertwine. We work with people of different ages, cultures and departments, but all with a common goal. Engaging with colleagues and clients is essential: from discussions new ideas and solutions to problems emerge.”.

Like so many of her colleagues, Silvia has experienced Macron’s growth first-hand. “I have seen and am experiencing the expansion of the company, not only in terms of turnover, but also as an environment to work in. If Silvia had to describe Macron in one word, she has no doubts: “team.” “As soon as a request arrives, I act as a liaison with the Administration, IT, communications, and logistics. We all work together to achieve the final goal. It’s like a real team.”.
