Investing in quality to grow further as a company. Macron Campus is born. This new project involves the construction of two new buildings in an area adjacent to Macron’s current headquarters.

Macron’s development is closely linked to the development of his headquarters, which already stands out for its large green areas, a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, and spaces dedicated to the well-being of the people, whether they are employees or guests visiting the premises.

The future Campus will be multifunctional, with spaces dedicated to offices and showrooms, sports fields for testing materials, spaces for production activities and for the storage and shipment of finished products. The total surface area will thus increase from 55,000 to approximately 100,000 square meters, including 20,000 square meters dedicated to BREEAM-certified green spaces. A true hub will therefore be set up to make the spaces dedicated to employees and the development of the company even more functional and cutting-edge.

Since 1971, the year of Macron’s birth, the company has come a long way. Over the last two decades, revenue has grown from less than €10 million to an estimated €200 million by 2023. This extraordinary growth has been fueled by innovation, substantial investments in technology and human resources, product quality, and a great passion. The growth in revenue has led to a significant expansion of the workforce and the development of a strong bond with the territory and the social fabric of Bologna. Within the headquarters in Valsamoggia, more than 180 people are directly employed and a further 50 indirectly. Key functions such as product development, design, marketing, commercial operations, finance, and the technological and IT sectors, which require highly skilled profiles, are entirely hosted in the Macron headquarters in Valsamoggia. This has led over time to close collaboration with various departments of the University of Bologna.

The presence of the headquarters of a company like Macron offers undeniable advantages to the surrounding area: creation of jobs (generating direct employment and creating opportunities in the services, transport, and catering sectors, etc.); development of economic activities (contributing to the local economy through investments and synergies with suppliers from the region); attracting talent (attracting qualified profiles, contributing to the development of local skills and the formation of professional networks); Research and innovation (concentrating research, design, development and engineering activities at the headquarters and promoting product innovation); image and prestige (enhancing the image and prestige of the territory even more if, as in the case of Macron, most of the turnover is generated outside Italy and all the products carry the label “Designed in Bologna”); sustainability and social responsibility (contributing to the well-being and prosperity of the territory through environmental and social initiatives that benefit the community)

The presence of a company’s headquarters in a territory not only generates employment, economic momentum and prestige, but also has a long-term influence on culture, innovation and the quality of life. An important impact that Macron is aware of, and which he continues to actively fuel through initiatives benefiting the community and the environment. For more than 30 years, Macron has chosen Valsamoggia as his home, has grown here and wishes to continue to do so.

“We are excited to launch this new project. Macron Campus represents a new step in the growth path of our company.. – he declared Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron – Looking to the future to be increasingly competitive, with a focus on quality and sustainability. Orltre is the best way to represent our brand and our activity, the Macron Campus It will be a space to be fully experienced and dedicated to people, who are the most important resource for a company, and it will further enhance the territory in which our roots are rooted.”.
