Elena Riccò joined Macron as an intern in Customer Service three years ago; today she holds the role of Customer Experience Specialist, following customers through all stages of their journey: from the design of customized uniforms to after-sales support. This rapid evolution is marked by a growth path she herself did not expect in such a short time.

From the very beginning, he had the opportunity to work on multiple fronts, interfacing with both retailers, with direct and operational requests, and with clubs, for which it is necessary to manage more complex and tailored processes.

“I learned immediately to distinguish different dynamics and priorities. This allowed me to acquire skills quickly, but also in a very practical way.”

A first real experience, dynamic and stimulating

For Elena, Macron represents the first real work experience after some sporadic employment on weekends. A graduate in Intercultural Language Interpretation and Mediation and with a master’s degree in International Management, she speaks English and Russian fluently. It was precisely this language that initially seemed the key to entering the job market, but the start of the war changed the outlook.

Macron’s announcement proved to be a turning point. Today he follows retailers in countries like Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Eastern Europe, and has managed clubs in Spain, Italy and in the same Eastern European area.

“It’s a very dynamic job, never boring. From the very beginning of the internship, I was fully involved. Every day we receive many requests; the flow is continuous. And this dynamism is also reflected in the life of the company, through events, moments shared with customers, and internal activities.”

An environment where you feel at home

Sport has always been a part of his life, from karate to tennis, through swimming and volleyball, and this makes the Macron environment familiar and stimulating. He moves with ease in a context where teamwork is central, just as is the concept of personal and professional growth.

“One goal I have set myself is to get to know the company even better, which is very structured and multifaceted. At the same time, I want to remain open to new responsibilities: Macron constantly puts you in a position to evolve.”

The report that makes the difference

In her role, human contact is central. Elena emphasizes how Macron encourages clients to visit the places where they operate, to build real and lasting relationships that go beyond the commercial aspect.

“Even on vacation, if I pass by a city where there is a Macron Sports Hub, I like to stop to say hello. You exchange a few words; it’s a genuine relationship that grows and develops over time.”

Changes experienced by the protagonist

In two and a half years, Elena has witnessed some key transformations: the transition from Macron Store to Macron Sports Hub, the evolution from Customer Service to Customer Experience, and the introduction of a new management system.

“The management change touched every department and required intense preparation. As a team, we conducted training, tests, and simulations. Today, thanks to this change, many processes have improved significantly.”

The value of sharing

One of the aspects Elena most appreciates about the Macron culture is the sense of belonging. Teamwork is not an abstract concept, but a daily approach. When there is an urgency, the teams work together to find the most effective solution.

“The phrase that sometimes comes to mind is the one I see written in the gym: ‘play harder than yesterday’. In Macron, every day you try to give something extra, and you do it together with the people who are by your side.”

For her, Macron represents a constant challenge, an environment where she can grow and contribute, driven by the energy of a group that works cohesively towards shared goals.
