Macron and Walsall FC have announced the renewal of their partnership, extending the relationship between the Italian brand, an international leader in teamwear, and the English club. The agreement strengthens a collaboration that began in 2024 and will see Macron continue to supply match kits, technical apparel and dedicated collections for the Saddlers’ First Team, Under-18 side and Women’s Team.

Founded in 1888 through the merger of Walsall Town and Walsall Swifts, Walsall FC is one of the historic clubs of English football. The nickname “The Saddlers” reflects the city’s long-standing manufacturing heritage, having been a renowned centre for the production of saddles and leather goods for many years. This deep connection with the local area remains one of the defining elements of the club’s identity.

Throughout its long history, Walsall FC has built a strong sporting culture and a close relationship with its community. Among the club’s most memorable achievements is its famous FA Cup victory over Arsenal in 1933, widely regarded as one of the competition’s greatest upsets. The club’s traditional red, black and white colours have accompanied its journey throughout the years, while the swift featured on the club crest remains one of the most recognisable symbols of its identity.

The renewal of the partnership will enable Macron to continue developing collections that celebrate the tradition, symbols and sense of belonging that define Walsall FC through garments that combine quality, technical innovation, design excellence and meticulous attention to detail. As with all of the Italian brand’s partner clubs, future collections will be produced using Eco Fabric, made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, reaffirming the shared commitment to increasingly sustainable production.
