Following the presentation of the new Home Kit, Scottish Rugby and Macron have also unveiled the new 2026/27 Away Kit, a jersey inspired by Scotland’s most authentic and untouched landscapes. A game set that celebrates the strength and character of the territory through a graphic design capable of transforming the country’s geography into a distinctive design element.
White dominates the new away jersey, ideally recalling the ice and the most extreme landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. The body of the garment is enhanced by a tone-on-tone graphic that reproduces, in a stylised form, the profile of the mountains that characterise the national territory: a tribute to the 282 Munros and the thousands of smaller peaks stretching from Stranraer to the Shetland Islands. A pattern that tells the story of Scotland’s rugged and spectacular nature, strengthening the bond between the team and the land it represents.
On the chest, the Macron Hero on the right and the Scottish Rugby Union crest on the heart side are applied in 3D thermo-plastic print. The inner backneck features the Macron logo accompanied by the wording Designed in Bologna, highlighting how every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
Inside the collar, a personalised tape alternates the word Scotland with the thistle, the national symbol of Scotland. Subtle navy-blue details finish the sleeves and recall the colour palette that runs throughout the 2026/27 collection, creating continuity with the visual concept developed for the season.
Completing the kit are white shorts with navy blue drawstrings and side inserts in sky blue and blue, in continuity with the jersey’s colour palette. The white socks feature a sky-blue upper trim with navy blue details.
Like all kits created by Macron for its partner federations and clubs, the new Scottish Rugby Away Kit is made from Eco Fabric, using materials produced from 100% recycled polyester derived from post-consumer plastic. The main fabric used is Eco Armevo, developed to guarantee maximum durability and high performance even during the most intense phases of play. Inserts in Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh also ensure lightness, comfort and excellent breathability.
The new Away Jersey, together with the full range of apparel, training wear, travel wear and accessories produced by Macron for Scottish Rugby Union, will be available to supporters and rugby fans in the dedicated section at macron.com.
