Oxford United FC, the English club based in the city that is home to the oldest university in the English-speaking world and which will compete in League One next season, has unveiled its new 2026/27 Home Kit created by Macron, the Oxs’ technical partner since 2022.
A shirt that interprets the club’s tradition through a contemporary design language, combining identity, elegance and innovation. Oxford United FC’s classic yellow and navy-blue colours are enhanced by refined detailing and a textile construction that gives the garment a distinctive character. A perfect expression of Macron’s philosophy, which combines sporting performance with aesthetic research.
Oxford United FC’s new 2026/27 Home shirt is yellow with a V-neck collar and knitted navy-blue trims, a colour also featured on the sleeve cuffs and the wide horizontal band that runs across the chest. Positioned on the chest are the Macron Hero, applied on the right-hand side, and the ox symbol, the central element of the club crest and a true icon of Oxford United FC’s identity, also featured in the famous sculpture located outside the Kassam Stadium.
A distinctive feature of the shirt is the fabric used on the front panel. It is made from Eco Lanman, an innovative jacquard fabric that incorporates a sophisticated pinstripe effect directly into the weave through subtle vertical lines. This construction adds depth and personality to the garment, enhancing its elegance and perfectly embodying the concept of sportswear that increasingly combines functionality with style.
The internal back-neck area is customised with the club colours, the Oxford United FC logo, the Macron Hero and the wording “Designed in Bologna”, highlighting how every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the outside back neck, the year 1893, marking the club’s foundation, is printed in navy-blue.
The kit is completed by navy blue shorts with yellow drawstrings and matching side detailing, while the yellow socks feature two thin horizontal navy-blue stripes on the upper cuff and display, tone-on-tone on the calf area, the image of the ox that symbolises the club.
The new 2026/27 Home Kit features a Slim Fit design and is made entirely from Eco Fabric materials, produced from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. In addition to Eco Lanman as the main fabric, the kit incorporates an Eco Micromesh back panel and Eco Mesh inserts to ensure lightness, comfort and maximum breathability, delivering high performance in all playing conditions.
