Following the launch of the new Home Kit that will accompany Bolton Wanderers FC in their return to the EFL Championship, the English club and Macron, technical partner of the Trotters, have unveiled the new 2026/27 Third Kit. A shirt that blends references to the iconic football aesthetics of the 1990s with innovative materials and technical solutions designed to deliver outstanding comfort, lightness and performance.

The new Bolton Wanderers 2026/27 Third shirt comes in a vibrant and energetic yellow, enhanced by navy blue and red detailing that reflects the club’s traditional colours. The design draws inspiration from the club’s third kit of the early 1990s, a period marked by a series of promotions that saw Bolton rise from the Third Division to the First Division before reaching the newly established Premier League.

The tribute to that memorable era in the club’s history is reinforced by the embossed geometric graphic and, above all, by the use of Eco Everton fabric, which gives the garment a distinctive reflective finish inspired by the materials and detailing that characterised some of the most iconic football kits of the 1990s.

The knitted polo collar is finished with a subtle red trim, a detail echoed on the sleeve cuffs to create an elegant and instantly recognisable colour balance. On the chest, both rendered in navy blue, are the embroidered Bolton Wanderers crest on the left and the Macron Hero on the right. The word WANDERERS appears on the outer back neck, while the internal backneck is customised with the club’s identity elements and the wording “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that the garment was conceived, designed and developed with dedication at the Macron Campus.

The kit is completed by yellow shorts featuring wide navy blue side panels and red drawstrings. The yellow socks include a central navy blue horizontal band embellished with a thin red stripe, within which the acronym BWFC appears in yellow.

The shirt has a Slim Fit cut and, like all match kits developed by Macron for its partner clubs, is produced using Eco Fabric, a polyester fabric made entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic. In addition to the use of Eco Everton as the main fabric, the garment incorporates Eco Micromesh inserts to ensure lightness, breathability and maximum comfort during sporting activity.

The full Macron apparel collection created for Bolton Wanderers is available in the dedicated club section on macron.com.
