Following their return to the EFL Championship at the end of a thrilling season, crowned by victory in the play-off final against Stockport County FC, Bolton Wanderers FC are already looking ahead to the future with the unveiling of the new 2026/27 Home Kit created by Macron, technical partner of the English club since 2014.
The new shirt interprets the Wanderers most iconic elements with elegance and a contemporary touch, maintaining the club’s traditional white base enriched with red and navy-blue detailing. The match kit has been developed with particular attention to design, performance and detail, while also reaffirming the shared commitment between the club and the Italian brand to sustainability and innovation. The kit is produced entirely using Eco Fabric, materials made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.
The new 2026/27 Home shirt for Bolton Wanderers FC features a crew neck with a front notch finished in navy blue and a red detail on the back. The right sleeve stands out through the combination of navy blue and a red sublimated insert, a stylistic reference to the iconic home kit worn during the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons, among the most prestigious years in the club’s recent history, culminating in two appearances in the UEFA Cup.
The body of the shirt, entirely white, is characterised by an embossed graphic made up of fine diagonal stripes, adding depth and sophistication to the design. On the chest, the navy-blue Macron Hero appears on the right, while the club crest, belonging to one of the founding members of The Football Association and soon to celebrate 150 years of history, is positioned on the left.
The backneck is customised with the shirt graphic, the Bolton Wanderers FC logo, the Macron logo and the wording “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the outer backneck, the word “WANDERERS” appears in navy blue.
The kit is completed by white shorts with a navy-blue drawstring and red aglets, together with a red-and-blue insert on the left thigh. The white socks feature thin horizontal navy blue and red stripes below the upper edge, with the acronym BWFC and the Macron Hero positioned beneath it.
The shirt has a Slim Fit and is made primarily from Eco Piola, a fabric whose structure gives the garment a refined vintage effect both visually and to the touch. Eco Mesh inserts also ensure high levels of breathability, comfort and technical performance.
