FK Austria Wien, one of the most successful clubs in the Austrian Bundesliga, and Macron, technical partner of Die Veilchen since the 2024/25 season and a leading international brand in the teamwear sector, have unveiled the new 2026/27 Home and Away Kits that the team will wear throughout the forthcoming season.
The two new strips share a strong identity-driven design concept inspired by the club’s crest and its most distinctive elements, reinterpreted through a contemporary approach that combines tradition, refined styling and technical innovation.
The new FK Austria Wien 2026/27 Home shirt retains the club’s traditional violet as its dominant colour. The shirt features a crew neck with white detailing, echoed on the sleeve cuffs. The front panel is enhanced by an elegant jacquard texture made up of fine vertical stripes, while a bold central vertical band stands out, displaying a sublimated graphic featuring deconstructed versions of the various crests used by the club throughout its history, framed within rectangular geometric shapes. The same graphic element continues onto the back of the shirt. The Home kit is completed by violet shorts with white drawstrings and violet socks featuring two fine horizontal white hoops on the turnover.
The 2026/27 Away shirt adopts the same design concept as the Home version, reinterpreted through an inverted colour palette. White dominates the entire kit, complemented by violet detailing on the crew neck and sleeve cuffs. Once again, the central feature is a broad vertical band running across both the front and back of the shirt. Created using an embossed finish, the graphic deconstructs and reinterprets elements from FK Austria Wien’s various crests, producing an elegant and distinctive visual effect. The Away kit is completed by white shorts with violet detailing and white socks enhanced by two fine horizontal violet hoops.
Both shirts also feature a customised internal tape at the hem displaying the names of the club’s Ehrenkapitän (Honorary Captains): Sara, Prohaska, Hussack, Nausch and Fiala. On the outside back neck appears the wording FUSSBALLKLUB AUSTRIA WIEN, in white on the Home shirt and violet on the Away version. On the chest of both shirts are the Macron Hero and the central element of the club crest featuring the FAK acronym: embroidered in white on the Home shirt and in violet on the Away.
The back neck, identical on both versions, is customised with a label featuring details from the club crest, the full FK Austria Wien logo, the Macron Hero and the wording “Designed in Bologna“, certifying that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
Like all garments produced by Macron for its partner clubs, the new FK Austria Wien kits are made using Eco Fabric, manufactured from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. The Home shirt is primarily produced in Eco Softstripe, a lightweight and durable technical fabric specifically developed for professional match kits, while the Away shirt is made from Eco Softlock, a lightweight fabric offering excellent tear resistance. In both versions, the Eco Baimi back panel and Eco Mesh inserts provide outstanding lightness, comfort and breathability.
