FC Nantes is already looking ahead to the future with the ambition of securing a swift return to Ligue 1 and today unveil the new 2026/27 Home Kit created by Macron, technical partner of the French club since the 2020/21 season. The new shirt reinterprets the iconic yellow and green colours of “Les Canaris” in a contemporary way, through a distinctive design inspired by the plumage of the canary, from which the club takes its nickname.
The new FC Nantes Home shirt features a yellow base enhanced by a green V-neck collar, green sleeves and green side panels. The defining feature of the shirt is the graphic design across the shoulders and sleeves: a dynamic sequence of diamond shapes fading from yellow into green, creating a visual effect inspired by the plumage of a canary. The front and back body of the shirt are enriched by an all-over embossed pattern composed of the same geometric motif. On the chest, the green Macron Hero appears on the right, while the FC Nantes crest is embroidered on the left.
The backneck is customised with a label featuring the same graphic design used on the shoulders and sleeves, together with the FC Nantes crest, the Macron logo and the wording “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the outside of the back of the collar is a stylised canary in green, depicted as if it had been created using the origami technique, while the lower rear hem features a customised silicone tape with the green slogan “On est Nantes” (We are Nantes), alternating with the image of the canary.
The kit is completed by yellow shorts featuring the same embossed graphic as the shirt together with green side bands, while the yellow socks display a wide green band at the top.
The FC Nantes 2026/27 Home shirt is made from Eco Softlock, a fabric specifically developed for match kits: lightweight, durable and designed to guarantee maximum on-pitch performance. Like all garments created by Macron for its partner clubs, this kit is also produced using polyester made entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic. In addition, the back panel is made from Eco Baimi, while Eco Mesh inserts ensure optimal lightness and breathability.
