Macron and Cricket Ireland today unveil the new ODI and Test playing kits that will be worn by Ireland’s Men’s and Women’s national teams in international competitions through to the end of 2027. A collection that combines tradition, innovation and sustainability, once again confirming the strength of the partnership between the Italian brand and the Irish federation.
The new kits represent a perfect balance between cultural identity and technical performance, designed to support athletes on the most important stages of world cricket.
Design: tradition and Irish identity
The new 2026/27 ODI jersey stands out for its rich green colour, enhanced by sublimation-printed graphic details that recall ancient symbols of Irish heritage, most notably the Celtic Knot. An iconic element that creates a strong link between past and present, resulting in a design with deep cultural significance.
The Test jersey, on the other hand, features a more essential and timeless aesthetic: an elegant white base enriched with green details, symbolising national pride.
Both kits complement the T20I kit launched in early 2026, inspired by Ireland’s rugged coastlines and the distinctive geology of the Giant’s Causeway, one of the island’s most iconic landmarks.
Materials: performance and sustainability
Like all garments produced by Macron for its partners, these kits also convey a strong message of sustainability. The jerseys are made from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric derived from post-consumer recycled plastic.
The main material used is Eco Gotex, a technical fabric specifically developed to ensure high performance during matches. Eco Mesh inserts also provide maximum lightness and breathability, ensuring optimal comfort.
Retail and training collection
The range available to fans includes a complete selection of garments that faithfully replicate the design of the match kits, including short- and long-sleeved jerseys, a long-sleeved V-neck jumper and a sleeveless vest, all featuring the same distinctive graphic layout.
The products will be available for purchase online directly via the dedicated Cricket Ireland section on macron.com.
