The Macron Cleanup Day is an initiative designed to promote environmental protection and shared responsibility.

A moment of active participation in which employees and their families dedicate themselves to the care of the areas surrounding the Macron Campus, through structured waste collection activities carried out with the support of the Municipality of Valsamoggia.

Welcoming and awareness-raising

The initiative includes an introduction by Macron’s ESG Committee and Dr. Lorena Ghiaroni, Advisor on Territorial Prevention, Environmental Quality and Sustainability. An environmental expert explains the good practices of collection and explains the concrete impact that collective actions like this can generate.

A concrete activity for the common good

Organized in small groups, the participants work in the areas surrounding the company headquarters, collecting waste and enhancing the common spaces. At the end of the activity, the collected material is delivered to the Waste Collection Center in Monteveglio, completing a journey based on respect for the environment and collaboration.

A best practice to share

Macron Cleanup Day represents an example of an initiative that is easy to export and replicate, capable of involving corporate communities, public bodies and local entities. It is a way to strengthen the connection with the territory and to promote a culture of sustainability that grows thanks to the participation of people.
