FC Basel 1893 and Macron complete the unveiling of the new 2026/27 game set with the Third Kit, a design that interprets the club’s identity through a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic. The dark purple base is combined with royal blue and red details, while a refined pinstripe pattern, created through different fabric constructions, defines the look of both the shirt and shorts.
The new FC Basel 1893 2026/27 Third shirt features an ice-white knitted polo collar and a deep purple central body, crossed by fine vertical stripes in a vivid, bright royal blue sublimated finish. The sleeves echo the pinstripe pattern, created through the Jacquard construction of the Eco Lanman fabric.
On the chest, the FC Basel 1893 crest is positioned on the left in a distinctive all-white version, made from silicone with a special three-dimensional finish. On the right, the Macron Hero is also applied in silicone. The piping defining the transition between the shoulders and the body of the shirt, together with the lower hem, is finished in red. On the outer back neck, a red silicone detail features the number 1893, the year in which the Rotblau were founded.
On the lower back of the shirt, an internal silicone tape features the slogan ROT ISCH UNSERI LIEBI, BLAU DIE EWIGI TREUI in white, meaning Red represents our love, blue our eternal loyalty, expressing the bond between the club and its identity.
As with the Home and Away versions, the backneck features a yellow label with a stylised heart in black, the inscriptions FC BASEL 1893 and IN COLLABORATION WITH MORIS MANSER, the Macron logo and the wording Designed in Bologna, certifying that the garment was conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
The kit is completed by dark purple shorts featuring the same pinstripe pattern as the shirt. The socks feature a horizontal red stripe on the upper turnover, the founding year of FC Basel 1893 in royal blue and the Macron Hero in white.
The main fabric used is Eco Softlock, specifically developed for game sets and particularly resistant to tearing. In addition to the aforementioned Eco Lanman fabric used on the sleeves, the shirt features a rear panel in Eco Baimi and Eco Mesh inserts, providing lightness, breathability and comfort during sporting activity. All the fabrics mentioned belong to the Eco Fabric range developed by Macron and made from 100% polyester derived from post-consumer recycled plastic.
