Deportivo Alavés and Macron, the Basque club’s new technical partner, have unveiled the new 2026/27 Away Kit, which the team will wear during LaLiga fixtures away from the Estadio de Mendizorrotza. The kit celebrates the deep connection between the club and its territory, drawing inspiration from one of the region’s most recognisable symbols: the vineyards of Rioja Alavesa, a landscape, cultural and winemaking treasure of the Basque Country.
The new Deportivo Alavés 2026/27 Away shirt is black, featuring a crew neck and sleeve cuffs in pastel pink. The jersey is distinguished by an all-over tonal abstract graphic inspired by the contours of the hills and vineyards that stretch across Rioja Alavesa, a region renowned for its prestigious wines and historic wineries. This stylistic element transforms the landscape into a symbol of identity, strengthening the bond between the team and the community it represents.
Inside the collar, a customised sweatband tape features the word “GLORIOSO”, the team’s historic nickname, alternating with the club crest.
Displayed on the chest, both in pastel pink and rendered in silicone print, are the Macron Hero logo and the Deportivo Alavés crest. The tribute to the region’s winemaking heritage is further highlighted by a dedicated badge applied to the lower part of the shirt, while the outer backneck features the Ikurrina, the Basque flag, symbolising belonging and regional pride.
The customised inner backneck label mirrors the detailing found on the Home version and features the club colours, the Deportivo Alavés crest, the Macron logo and the wording “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
The kit is completed by black shorts, featuring the same graphic as the shirt on the side panels and finished with pastel pink detailing and trim. The black socks are enhanced by a wide pastel pink horizontal band around the upper section.
Further enhancing the garment is the use of Eco Knit Energy fabric, developed by Macron to combine performance, comfort and style innovation. Its distinctive jacquard construction creates an elegant texture directly within the fabric weave, enriching both the visual and tactile appeal of the shirt while perfectly expressing the combination of technical innovation and Italian design. As with all match kits produced by Macron for its partner clubs, this strip is made from Eco Fabric, a material composed of 100% post-consumer recycled polyester.
