Following the unveiling of the Home and Away kits, Deportivo Alavés and Macron, the Basque club’s new technical partner, today present the new Third Kit that will accompany the team throughout the 2026/27 season. The new strip draws inspiration from one of Vitoria-Gasteiz’s most significant environmental projects: the renowned Anillo Verde (Green Belt), the ring of green spaces surrounding the Basque capital and now recognised as one of Europe’s leading examples of urban regeneration and environmental sustainability.
The new Deportivo Alavés 2026/27 Third Kit features a vibrant aqua green base complemented by navy blue details on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. The body of the shirt is enhanced by an embossed graphic incorporating floral motifs inspired by the rich natural heritage and biodiversity of the green areas that make up the Anillo Verde.
Originally launched in the early 1990s as a project to regenerate the city’s peripheral areas, the Anillo Verde has gradually evolved into a network of urban parks of outstanding ecological value, including Armentia, Olarizu, Salburua, Zabalgana and Zadorra. Today, this environmental landmark has become one of the defining symbols of Vitoria-Gasteiz, an identity that is reflected in the design of the club’s new Third shirt.
On the chest, both rendered in navy blue with a 3D thermoplastic application, are the Macron Hero on the right and the Deportivo Alavés crest on the left. Inside the collar is a customised silicone tape featuring the word GLORIOSO, alternating with the club crest. On the outside back neck, the Ikurriña, the historic flag of the Basque Country, is applied as a further tribute to the identity of the region.
The kit is completed by aqua green shorts featuring the same floral graphic along the sides, together with matching socks incorporating a navy blue horizontal stripe around the top.
From both a technical and stylistic perspective, the Third Kit is made from Eco Everton, a fabric that gives the garment a distinctive luminous and reflective finish inspired by the aesthetics of 1990s match kits. The addition of an Eco Micromesh back panel and Eco Mesh inserts ensures lightness, durability and maximum breathability, delivering outstanding comfort and performance in every playing condition.
Like all match kits produced by Macron for its partner clubs, the new Deportivo Alavés Third Kit is manufactured using Eco Fabric, made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, reaffirming the shared commitment to increasingly sustainable production.
