Connacht Rugby, the Irish rugby union side competing in the Investec Champions Cup in Europe, has unveiled its new Euro Kit 2026/27, designed and produced by Macron, the club’s Technical Partner. The European campaign will get underway on the weekend of 16 October and will culminate in next year’s finals in Lyon, France.
Connacht Rugby’s Euro Kit 2026/27 combines different shades of deep blue with aqua green details defining the V-neck, sleeve cuffs and some of the graphic elements across the front of the shirt. The shirt’s distinctive graphic is made up of a series of ‘V’-shaped elements which develop in a tonal effect across the upper section, including the shoulders and sleeves, as well as on the back. On the front, meanwhile, the Vs feature aqua green shades, creating a sense of relief and depth.
The Macron Hero stands out in white at the centre of the chest, while the Connacht Rugby crest sits on the heart side. The backneck mirrors those of the Home and Away Kits, featuring a label in different shades of green, alongside the club logo, the Macron Hero and the wording “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
The blue shorts feature white drawstrings, while the socks are finished with a horizontal aqua green stripe around the upper edge.
Like the other game kits designed by Macron for the Irish club, the Euro Kit 2026/27 is made using sustainable fabrics from the Eco Fabric range, produced with 100% polyester sourced from post-consumer recycled plastic. The main fabric used is Eco Armevo, designed to provide high resistance even during intense physical activity. Inserts in Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh, meanwhile, help keep the garment lightweight and highly breathable.
