Ostiamare’s new season starts from its roots. And it does so with the new kit, conceived and designed by Daniele De Rossi and produced in partnership with technical sponsor Macron.
More than just a symbol of the 2026/27 sporting season, the kit marks the starting point of a journey that looks to the club’s history while, at the same time, embracing its future.
“Roots and Wings” is the concept chosen to accompany the new biancoviola season: “There are two things we should give our children: one is roots, the other is wings”. An aphorism that captures the deeper meaning of the project: passing on a history, an identity and a sense of belonging, while at the same time providing the opportunity to grow, look ahead and build one’s own future.
A connection that also recalls the bond between parents and children, represented by the couples featured in the shoot by Roberta Krasnig for the launch. Those who pass on their roots, and those who, starting from them, find the strength to take flight. The former represent identity, the connection with Ostia and the places that have shaped generations of supporters. The latter embody the desire to grow again, look ahead and give new ambitions to a club that wants to build its future without forgetting where it comes from.
At the heart of this journey is also the return to Stella Polare (Stadio Giannattasio), Ostia’s historic stadium, which once again becomes Ostiamare’s home. A place deeply connected to the club’s biancoviola heritage, welcoming the team and its community back and giving even greater meaning to the concept of “roots”. Returning to Stella Polare means reclaiming an important part of the club’s identity and turning it into a starting point for what lies ahead.
The new kit stems from this very idea: wearing the history, living the present and building the future. A connection between what Ostiamare has been and what it aims to become, through a distinctive identity deeply rooted in its territory.
The project will extend beyond the pitch. In autumn, “Roots”, the docuseries dedicated to Daniele De Rossi’s return at the helm of the club, its protagonists and the relationship between the club and the city of Ostia, will be presented.
With its creative concept, the Ostiamare 2026/27 kit naturally embodies the Fashion in Sport philosophy of the Macron Style Centre: an approach that brings together Italian design, aesthetics and technical performance, viewing the kit not simply as a technical garment designed for competition, but as a space for expression capable of telling the story of a culture, a community and the way a club chooses to represent itself.
