Finding a job that accompanies you for almost your entire life is rare. But for Stefania Goidànich, who is now in Macron’s administrative area, this really happened. Her journey began on December 7, 1983, in a company that was then called Gruppo Macron and consisted of four companies. Since then, everything has changed: the company, the roles, the tools. And she has also changed with them.
“I started by entering data. Then came active invoicing, warehouse management, and representative management. Today I am part of the Suppliers team, collaborating with a colleague to manage approximately 40-45 agents. I also manage Intrastat and insurance procedures.”
Autonomy and method
Over more than forty years of career, Stefania has built her own working method step by step, relying on organization, autonomy, and curiosity.
“I like to say that I grew up alone, learning to manage things independently. I don’t like depending on others: I prefer to find solutions, organize myself, and improve consistently. That’s how I achieve results.”
Always new goals
Despite her experience, Stefania never stops setting goals. Continuing education is a priority for her.
“This year I would finally like to enroll in a Spanish course. And I will also take another English course: it’s crucial with international agents. I believe that every time we reach a milestone, we must immediately aim higher. That’s what makes us grow.”
Mutual growth
In Stefania’s story, one word keeps coming up: growth. Professional, personal, shared.
“When I joined the company, I didn’t yet have a diploma. I worked during the day and went to school in the evening. I graduated while working and also started university. Then I decided to dedicate myself solely to work. The societal changes were not easy, but I believed in them. I stayed, and I grew up alongside the company. Few saw me change as much as I did.”
A dynamic work environment where curiosity is essential
Some people might think that working in an administration of a company is repetitive, but, as Stefania explains:
“My days are always different. I am involved in so many things, so there is no routine. Every day can bring new challenges. I have always approached work with humility, but also with a desire to learn from others. And it is this curiosity that has enriched me.”
Staying by choice
Over the years, opportunities to change have not been lacking. But Stefania has always remained.
“There’s never a trigger that makes you want to leave. I’m happy here, I enjoy my work and it gives me satisfaction. And then being close to home isn’t a small thing. If I had a few years less, maybe I would have tried to move to another department, maybe marketing. I would have loved to travel a bit more. I miss the long-distance flights, especially in England, which I love deeply. London is for me the most beautiful city in the world.’
One key word: team
If she had to describe Macron in just one word, Stefania has no doubts: team.
“It’s a word that speaks of sport, but also of common spirit, of working together to achieve shared goals. And that’s exactly what we do every day, here at Macron.”
