Just days after the announcement of the partnership between Macron and the Alavés-Baskonia Group, the Italian brand and the Basque club have unveiled Deportivo Alavés’ new 2026/27 Home Kit. A strip deeply rooted in the club’s iconic colours: the blue and white vertical stripes that, since the club’s foundation in 1921, have embodied the identity and pride of Vitoria-Gasteiz, becoming one of the most recognisable designs in Spanish football.

The new Deportivo Alavés 2026/27 Home shirt features the club’s traditional blue and white vertical stripes, with the royal blue tone also used for the polo collar, enhanced by a subtle white trim, as well as for the shoulders and sleeves, which are finished with white detailing. Within the royal blue stripes is a sublimated graphic tone on tone depicting Deportivo Alavés supporter in the stands of Madrid’s Vicente Calderón Stadium during the historic Copa del Rey Final played against FC Barcelona in May 2017.

Also featured on the front of the shirt, towards the lower section, is a heat-applied commemorative badge dedicated to that memorable occasion. It includes the Copa del Rey logo, the number 10, the names DEPORTIVO ALAVÉS and FC BARCELONA, together with the date 27.5.2017. A celebratory detail that anticipates the tenth anniversary of one of the most significant chapters in the club’s recent history.

On the chest, the Macron Hero appears in white on the right-hand side, while the club crest is positioned over the heart. Inside the collar, a customised sweat tape features the word GLORIOSO alternating with the club’s logo. The backneck is personalised with a label divided between a black section and a section reproducing the shirt’s graphic design, alongside the Deportivo Alavés crest, the Macron logo and the wording “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the outer back neck, centred below the collar, the Ikurriña, the historic Basque flag and enduring symbol of the region’s identity, is printed.

The kit is completed by two shorts options: white shorts with a royal blue drawstring and leg trim, or royal blue shorts with white leg trim. Supporters and players can also choose between two sock designs: white socks featuring a thin royal blue horizontal stripe below the turnover, or socks with horizontal blue and white hoops. Both versions display the Macron Hero on the front and the initials DA on the back.

Like all garments developed by Macron for its partner clubs, Deportivo Alavés’ new Home Kit is produced using Eco Fabric, a fabric made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. More specifically, the shirt is made from Eco Softlock, a lightweight yet highly durable material developed specifically for match kits, while the Eco Micromesh back panel and Eco Mesh inserts ensure maximum breathability and comfort on the pitch.

The full Macron apparel collection created for Deportivo Alavés is available in the dedicated Basque club section on macron.com.
