Cleanup Day
A voluntary Cleanup Day, in partnership with the Municipality of Valsamoggia, involving Macron employees and their families. This initiative represents a best practice that can be replicated in other contexts.
The Macron Cleanup Day is an initiative designed to promote environmental protection and shared responsibility.
A moment of active participation where employees and their families dedicate themselves to caring for the areas surrounding the Macron Campus through structured waste collection activities, carried out with the support of the Municipality of Valsamoggia.
Welcoming and Awareness
The initiative begins with an introduction by Macron’s ESG Committee and the Councillor for Territorial Prevention, Environmental Quality, and Sustainability, Dr. Lorena Ghiaroni. An environmental expert presents best practices for waste collection and explains the tangible impact that collective actions like this can generate.
A Concrete Activity for the Common Good
Organized into small groups, participants work in the areas around the company premises, collecting waste and enhancing communal spaces. At the end of the activity, the collected materials are delivered to the Monteveglio Waste Collection Center, completing a process rooted in respect for the territory and collaboration.
A Best Practice to Share
The Macron Cleanup Day represents an example of an initiative that can be easily adapted and replicated, capable of engaging corporate communities, public institutions, and local organizations. It is a way to strengthen ties with the territory and promote a culture of sustainability that grows through people’s participation.
