Silvia Borsari, who joined Macron two years ago, describes her entry into the company as “a game of fate”. At that moment she was looking for new opportunities when, almost by chance, a friend suggested that she send her CV: struck by the aesthetics and the energy she perceived from the outside, she decided to give it a try.
The selection process was lengthy, starting in September and not completed until several months later. In the meantime, Silvia had already accepted another job. Then Macron’s proposal came along and she decided to try again.
“It was a courageous decision, but I would do it again a hundred times.”
A radical change
Silvia came from a smaller organization, where she managed the entire administrative area autonomously. In Macron, she suddenly found herself in an open space with thirty people dedicated to functions that, in her previous experience, had been concentrated in a single figure: her own.
“It was a drastic change. But it was what I was looking for: I wanted to enter a larger, more structured reality, and see if it could work for me.”
Two years later, the answer is clear: yes. Despite the company’s international scale, Silvia says she has always felt a strong sense of belonging, characterized by relationships, continuous interaction, and a spirit of teamwork.
A role built on potential
One of the aspects that most struck her was the emphasis on her skills. Over time, she saw a role increasingly defined around her, shaped by her abilities and aimed at enhancing her potential.
“Everyone needs to feel that they are doing well. Here, I not only felt supported, but really encouraged to improve. I was clearly told: we believe in you.”
Today, Silvia, Senior Specialist of General Ledger, manages the MSH’s balance sheets, coordinating complex activities. Her role requires an overview, control of active and passive activities, coordination of accounting staff, and constant interaction with management control. Responsibility has grown significantly, as has professional awareness.
Determining, he emphasizes, was the support of the responsible people, who were able to guide and stimulate her, offering confidence and concrete opportunities for growth.
Youth, responsibility and teamwork
What makes Silvia’s experience special is also the energy that is breathed in daily. A young, dynamic environment where ideas are listened to and every contribution is considered valuable.
“You find yourself in a meeting, important decisions are being made and you look around: we are all young. You feel part of the group, you feel important.”
The concept of teamwork in Macron is not just a slogan: it is a daily practice. Ideas are well accepted, confrontation is encouraged, and growth is seen as a shared journey.
A choice that looks to the future
Thinking back on that curriculum that was sent to her almost by chance, Silvia smiles. In two years, she has seen her responsibilities grow, discovered new skills, and found an environment that has been able to fully value her.
“If I were to go back, I would make the same choice. Here I found confidence, opportunities, and the possibility to build my path, step by step.”
A testimony that tells not only about professional growth, but also about an experience made of people, courage and shared vision.
