On this page Macron S.p.A., which produces sportswear products, describes the management methods of this site (the “Site”) with reference to the processing of personal data of Users who consult it or send emails to the email addresses available on the Site. WHY THIS PRIVACY POLICY?

As of May 25, 2018, new privacy rules apply in all EU Member States, introduced by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “GDPR”), along with national laws such as Legislative Decree 101/18.

The GDPR strengthens user protections and imposes new responsibilities on data controllers, including those managing websites.

A key principle is transparency: users must be clearly informed, in advance, about what personal data is collected, who processes it, for what purposes, for how long, whether it will be used for commercial or profiling purposes, if it will be shared with third parties, and how they can control its use.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

This Privacy Policy applies solely to this Website and not to any other websites that users may access via hyperlinks. Links to third-party websites do not imply endorsement by MacronS.p.A., which assumes no responsibility for the content or use of such sites.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Access to and consultation of the Macron S.p.A. Site does not involve the collection of personal data by Macron S.p.A., except:

  • in the “Contacts” section, here there is a specific form whose completion involves the subsequent acquisition of the user’s email address and data, necessary to follow up on registration and information requests formulated by the user;
  • in the online purchase order form for Macron S.p.A. products.

Browsing data

Please note that the computer system – as part of its normal operation – may need to store some of your browsing data. The transmission of this data is automatic and is necessary for the operation of the Site, being linked to the use of Internet communication protocols. Such data is not collected in order to be associated with your identity, however it could indirectly – through processing and association with data held by third parties – allow your identification. Cookies

The cookies used by the Site are first-party technical and analytical. In addition, third-party profiling cookies are installed on the Site, through which third-party companies perform statistics and sampling related to commercial activity and send advertising messages in line with the preferences that the user shows while browsing the web.

The use of session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site. Macron S.p.A. as Data Controller specifies that, if the User voluntarily and spontaneously provides personal data belonging to particular categories pursuant to art. 9 of the GDPR (i.e. information suitable for revealing racial origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of parties, trade unions or organizations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade union nature, as well as personal data suitable for revealing the state of health and sexual orientation), Macron S.p.A. will process them with the utmost confidentiality, in compliance with current legislation and for the exclusive purposes indicated in the specific information. These data will be disclosed only to the recipients indicated in each specific Information and will not be used for commercial purposes, unless you provide your express consent, as specified below.

Commercial Communications:

Macron S.p.A. may send commercial communications exclusively to those users who have provided specific consent by accessing specific pages on the Site.

Before giving their consent, users are duly informed of the fact that Macron S.p.A., in compliance with the provisions of art. 13 GDPR may send promotional messages relating to its services or organised activities to the email address and/or home of the User.

The User who has consented to the sending of commercial communications may, at any time, decide to revoke his/her consent. In this case, Macron S.p.A. will refrain from sending future communications. Revoking your consent will be possible with the same simple methods with which it was provided.

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Browsing Data:

The data collected automatically by the system are used:

  • in order to allow the User to use the Site’s features;
  • in order to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning and are destroyed immediately after being processed;

The legal basis for the processing of the data mentioned above is the express consent of the user, acquired in accordance with the GDPR.

INTENTION TO TRANSFER DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY OR TO AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION

The navigation data and the data spontaneously sent by users through the various channels made available by the Site may be transferred to servers located in non-EU countries, if the IT service providers and the programs used by Macron S.p.A., listed above as recipients, provide for this or use cloud computing technology that cannot locate with certainty where your data is allocated.

In accordance with the law, please note that at present the European Commission has provided an adequacy decision only for a limited number of States (Andorra, Argentina, Australia, PNR, Canada, Faeroe Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Israel, Jersey, New Zealand, Switzerland, Uruguay) and that therefore your personal data could be transferred by the Services used (e.g. Skype, Gmail) also to Countries for which such an adequacy decision has not been published, nor at present Macron S.p.A. is able to independently provide appropriate guarantees.

However, we remind you that Macron S.p.A. has carefully selected only service providers capable of offering a high level of security and protection of personal data.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Browsing Data: Deleted immediately after processing, unless required for criminal investigations.

Cookies: First-party cookies are stored for 12 months in aggregate, non-identifiable form.

User-Provided Data:

  • Contact form data is kept only as long as necessary to reply.
  • Newsletter data is retained until revoked or for 12 months, with renewal requested.
  • CVs are retained for up to 1 year for potential future opportunities.collaborazione.

Data is processed using digital and manual methods in compliance with the GDPR. The Data Controller regularly verifies the relevance and necessity of data collected.

RULES OF CONDUCT – COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF DATA

In order to comply with the provisions of the legislation in force, in the event that the User improperly uses the Site in order to commit crimes and/or carry out any criminally punishable conduct, the Data Controller reserves the right to inform the Public Authority, in full compliance with the law.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be modified when new features are added to the Site or following comments and suggestions sent by our users.
