Macron celebrates the sporting triumphs of 2025 with a unique gesture: the presentation to its partner clubs of the Shirts of Light, exclusive works of art that transform the achievements of Bologna FC 1909, Crystal Palace FC, Ferencváros TC, FC Basel, Lech Poznań and Red Star Belgrade into a luminous and timeless symbol.
Created by Italian artist Michele Astolfi, who first unveiled the concept at the 2025 edition of Arte Fiera, these framed shirts are decorated with tesserae created with hand-painted Murano glass and embellished with Swarovski crystals. The six works that make up the Shirts of Light collection are artistic reinterpretations of the clubs’ Home jerseys, celebrating teams that won a domestic trophy during the 2024/25 season: Bologna FC 1909, winners of the Coppa Italia; Crystal Palace FC, winners of the FA Cup; Ferencváros, winners of the 2025 Hungarian Championship; FC Basel, winners of both the Swiss Championship and Swiss Cup; Lech Poznań, winners of the Polish Championship; and Red Star Belgrade, winners of the Serbian Championship and Cup.
Each Shirt of Light is a tribute to sporting excellence and to the dedication of clubs and players alike, blending art and sport into a single piece that tells the story of the passion, commitment and glory of an unforgettable football season for Macron. The artworks were presented by CEO Gianluca Pavanello to the senior representatives of the six partner clubs.
With this initiative, Macron reaffirms its commitment to recognising and enhancing the achievements of its partner clubs, celebrating not only victories but also the beauty of sport and its most iconic moments— destined to live on in the memories of fans and football lovers alike.
