As Perth Glory FC celebrates its 30th anniversary, the Australian club and Macron have also announced the renewal of a partnership, that has already passed the ten-years mark. The Glory first began working with the Italian brand back in 2013, with Perth Glory being the first professional club in Australia to sign a technical partnership agreement with Macron. The strong collaboration that has developed since then covers not only the men’s team, but the women’s and youth teams too. In these 12 years, the two partners have developed ever closer ties extending well beyond a purely commercial relationship.

Macron has accompanied Perth Glory FC throughout the club’s journey to become one of the biggest names in Australian football. Among the club’s many achievements, the 2018/19 stands out, with Perth Glory finishing in second place in the championship and winning the Premier’s Plate, the trophy awarded to the team that finishes the regular season in first place. The club has also won two National Soccer League titles and has reached two FFA Cup finals, Australia’s national trophy.

Since 2013, the history, identity and symbols of the team have been expressed by game kits that Macron has designed and made for the Perth-based club.  In addition to the colours that have always identified the team, Macron’s kits have also been characterised by innovative, custom graphics and advanced, high-performance fabrics. The kits, sportswear and merchandise designed by Macron have always been enthusiastically received by the club’s supporters, fans, who were able to appreciate in them the great sense of belonging to the club and the territory it represents.

“The ties between Macron and Perth Glory FC have become ones of mutual respect and friendship. The renewal of our partnership confirms our determination to continue down the road to competitive success that we began together in 2013,” declared Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “2025 is an important year for the club and we are delighted to have been able to support it for so many seasons. Over the years we have worked extremely well together on designing shirts and sportswear that have effectively expressed the identity of Perth Glory FC.”

We are extremely proud of our longstanding partnership with Macron and very pleased that it will be continuing,” said Anthony Radich, Perth Glory FC CEO. “Having negotiated our club’s initial deal with Macron, their very first professional club deal in Australia, the subsequent growth of the brand both domestically and globally has been incredible to see, but not surprising. Over the years, we have worked collaboratively to produce some truly iconic Glory kits which have proven to be extremely popular with our Members and fans. Macron’s high-quality, innovative designs and use of the very latest, high-performance fabrics have seen them establish themselves as a true industry leader and we look forward to them continuing to provide our players, staff and Members and fans with the most stylish and practical apparel.
