Only one month after announcing a new partnership, Macron and European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), the tournament organiser of the Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup, have unveiled new match kits for use in the upcoming season. Referees and other match officials will wear the new kits in rugby’s premier international club competitions in the upcoming 2024/25 season. The new garments offer the same high performance as all Macron partners. They are produced from Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic, confirming the commitment to sustainability shared by Macron, EPCR and all the clubs and federations that wear the company’s sportswear.

The officials in charge of Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup matches will have three game sets to choose from, in fluorescent pink, blue and yellow. All the shirts have a Mandarin neck and vertical stripes down the sides in the same colour. The shorts are all black with white drawstrings, while the socks come in the same colours as the shirts and have a Macron Hero over the ankle. The shirts also feature geometric graphics in a tone-on-tone, dye-sub printed, all-over mesh pattern. Also, dye-sub printed in black on the chest are the Macron Hero on the right and the EPCR logo on the left.

All the new kits are Slim Fit and made from Eco Fightex with Eco Bodytex inserts, two materials that offer unrivalled strength, low weight, and excellent breathability. These innovative fabrics are capable of delivering the maximum performance and comfort needed to carry out the essential role of refereeing and ensuring fair play.

The Investec Champions Cup and the EPCR Challenge Cup feature 42 teams from eight countries: England, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa and Wales. The new kit will debut as EPCR’s 30th season kicks off on Friday 6 December. Each season’s destination Finals take place in an iconic rugby city, with this season’s Cardiff 25 Finals taking place at the iconic Principality Stadium in May 2025.
