Macron and Professional Referee Organization announce a multi-year partnership

Professional Referee Organization (PRO) and Macron have announced a new multi-year agreement running through to 2031, which will see the Italian sportswear brand become the Official and Exclusive Referee Uniform Provider for match officials operating in Major League Soccer.

Under the terms of the partnership, Macron will supply technical match kits as well as training and performance apparel to PRO referees and staff, supporting their activities both on and off the pitch. The new uniforms will make their competitive debut at the start of the 2026 MLS season, which kicks off on 21 February.

Macron continues to strengthen its position as a global reference brand in the sportswear sector, with a consolidated presence across football, rugby, basketball and volleyball. The partnership with PRO further expands Macron’s long-standing involvement in elite officiating, adding Major League Soccer to an already prestigious portfolio that includes match officials from Concacaf, UEFA, World Rugby and the United Rugby Championship, alongside numerous leading professional clubs and federations worldwide.

Founded in 2012, the Professional Referee Organization is responsible for the identification, training and development of professional match officials, providing officiating services across Major League Soccer, the National Women’s Soccer League, Gainbridge Super League, USL Championship, USL League One and MLS NEXT Pro.

With this agreement, the Macron Hero will once again take to the pitch at the highest level of international sport, reaffirming the brand’s role as a trusted technical partner for those who ensure the integrity, fairness and performance of the game.
