Another Federation joins the Macron family: the Italian Cricket Federation. The Italian brand, will be the technical sponsor of the F.CR.I. for the next 4 years starting from this season. Macron confirms with this new partnership the desire to dress always more disciplines and to be at the side of those who want to grow and structure in the world of sport.
Cricket has ancient roots: It was the period between the 14th and 15th centuries when cricket became a British sport par excellence. In Italy, cricket is closely linked to football, as many historic Italian clubs were founded as associations that combined football and cricket, such as the oldest team in Italy, the Genoa Cricket and Football Club, founded in 1893. After a period of oblivion, since the 1970s cricket has been played regularly and continuously in Italy. Over the years cricket has been revolutionised, finding its international dimension in the game of limited overs (series of 6 tosses). Italy is also part of this new cricket, currently ranked around the twentieth position in the world.
Macron will be at the side of the F.CR.I. dressing the national teams and affiliated clubs and creating a line of merchandising dedicated also creating a Club Shop which can be accessed by the clubs themselves, but also by amateur players.
