Macron consolidates and expands its presence in the African market. The Hero Company is the new technical partner of Canon Sportif de Yaoundé, Cameroon’s most successful football club. From the end of April, the red and green team will play on the field with technical garments supplied by the Italian brand.
Canon Sportif de Yaoundé is a historic club in the African football scene. Founded in 1930, it is based in the capital city of Cameroon. In its 92-year history, it has won 10 national titles, 12 Cameroon Cups, 3 CAF Champions League titles and an African Cup Winners’ Cup – a rather substantial trophy cabinet. No other team in the country has won as many titles as Canon Yaoundé, who dominated Cameroonian football between the 1970s and 1980s.
