Macron continues its international expansion in elite sport with the announcement of a new partnership with one of Poland’s most historic and passionate clubs. GKS Katowice is the latest team to join the Macron family. From the upcoming season, the Macron Hero will appear on the match kits of GieKSa athletes. The agreement covers all sporting sections of the club and will run until 2028, offering players access to high-performance matchwear, training apparel, and customised merchandise lines.
Founded in 1964, GKS Katowice is a symbol of sporting tradition and regional pride. The club is known for its loyal and vibrant fanbase and its presence across multiple disciplines including football, ice hockey, and volleyball. With a history rooted in the heart of Silesia, GieKSa’s values of determination, identity, and unity are reflected in every performance on the field and beyond.
The partnership between Macron and GKS Katowice is based on a shared vision of innovation and identity. As part of the agreement, the club’s kits will be custom-designed to reflect the unique heritage of Katowice and the spirit of its supporters. The first collection will be unveiled in July, ahead of the PKO BP Ekstraklasa season.

The start of this new journey also coincides with the opening of the new Macron Sports Hub in Katowice. The store, located at Arena Katowice, will officially open tomorrow Friday, 13 June. This space has been conceived not only as a retail destination but as a meeting point for professionals, sports lovers and GKS fans across the region.
