The collaboration between Macron and AJ Auxerre, which began in 2017, will continue through to 2032. This renewed commitment reflects the strong bond between the two entities and Macron’s confidence in the club’s long-term development project, both on and off the pitch.
Each season, Macron and the club create unique jerseys featuring bespoke details that celebrate AJ Auxerre’s identity and history. Macron will now continue to supply technical apparel not only for the first team, but also for the AJA Acadomia youth academy teams and the women’s squads.
The extension also includes the Macron Sports Hub, which makes AJ Auxerre a unique case worldwide. A specialist in distributing sports equipment to clubs, associations, and communities. The Sports Hub—usually managed by independent retailers—offers AJ Auxerre’s partner clubs an innovative tool while strengthening the already close ties with the amateur football world.
Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, affirmed: “The renewal of the agreement with AJ Auxerre marks an important milestone, allowing us to continue our growth path in a strategic market such as France. Over these eight years, the collaboration with the club has proven to be strong and fruitful, and we are proud to keep offering players and fans our commitment, our quality and our passion.”
Baptiste Malherbe, CEO of AJ Auxerre, stated: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Macron, our technical sponsor since 2017. Over the years, we have built a strong relationship, and our players and fans have greatly appreciated the kits and apparel designed especially for AJA. For eight years, both AJA and Macron have grown significantly, and we share the ambition to carry forward this great story with passion and loyalty. We thank Macron for their support and commitment to our project and our evolution.”
