West Bromwich Albion FC, the historic English club competing in the Sky Bet Championship, and Macron, technical partner of the Baggies since last season, have unveiled the new Home Kit to be worn during the 2025/26 season for matches at the Hawthorns. The stadium, also known as The Shrine, has hosted WBA games since its construction, in 1900. 125 years of shared history between the club and its ground are honoured in the new shirt through exclusive patches and a customised internal tape.
The new 2025/26 West Bromwich Albion Home shirt features a distinctive knitted V-neck made of a navy blue base overlaid with a white trim on the left side only. The shirt comes in the traditional design with vertical white and navy blue stripes, a pattern also repeated on the sleeves. The backneck is personalised with the club’s colours and crest, the Macron logo, and the phrase ‘Designed in Bologna’, highlighting that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the chest, the Macron Hero appears in navy blue silicone print on the right, and the WBA crest is on the left.
A tribute to the stadium is featured inside the collar, where an image of The Hawthorns’ stands is printed. On the lower left hem of the shirt, a special patch in the shape of The Hawthorns includes a throstle, the club’s symbol, and the inscription ‘125 Years’ in red, set against a blue background made up of hawthorn flowers – a reference to the blossoms that once covered the land where the stadium was built.
Inside the bottom hem, a personalised tape features the words ‘The moment I walked into The Hawthorns I felt was home’. The quote belongs to Tony “Bomber” Brown, the legendary striker who made 573 appearances and scored 218 goals for WBA between 1963 and 1980. This tribute to a club icon, who also features in the launch video for the new Home Kit, is further enhanced by his silhouette, which separates the repeated quote on the inside tape.
On the outside back neck, a special logo commemorating this important anniversary is printed. It reads ‘125 YEARS AT THE HAWTHORNS – SINCE 1900’, and features a throstle perched on a hawthorn flower.
The Home Kit is completed with two shorts options: navy with white side bands, or white with navy side bands. The navy socks feature a white top trim. As with all Macron match kits, the new Home Kit is made from Eco Fabric, a material derived entirely from recycled plastic. For this specific shirt, Eco Piola has been used – a fabric that combines softness and elasticity with a distinctive retro feel.
The new West Bromwich Albion Home Kit, along with other items in the club’s apparel range produced by Macron, is available in a dedicated section on macron.com.
