Just a few days after unveiling the new Home kit, U.C. Sampdoria and Macron reveal the second shirt for the upcoming season. For the design of the 2025/26 Away kit, the Macron Design Center drew inspiration from a historic building in the city of Genova: the San Lorenzo Cathedral. It is impossible not to be captivated by this place of worship, renowned for the majesty of its black and white striped façade, its bell tower dominating the historic centre, and the intricate details that make it a true architectural Italian gem.
The new U.C. Sampdoria Away 25/26 kit is white with the iconic Blucerchiata band, a detail also featured on the sleeve cuffs and V-neck collar. The shirt showcases an all-over embossed brickwork graphic, inspired by a detail from the façade of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. This graphic is further enhanced by the use of Eco Exalock jacquard fabric, which incorporates the design directly into the weave, giving the garment an elegant, refined and sophisticated look.
Thelabel in the backneck is personalised with a design split between the blucerchiata band and the shirt’s graphic motif, featuring the Sampdoria crest, the Macron logo, and the wording “Designed in Bologna” to highlight that every garment is conceived, designed, and developed at the Macron Campus. On the outer rear neck, in sublimation print, is a detail of the blucerchiata band; as on the Home kit, the lower back hem features a custom tape with the image of the Baciccia. The shorts are royal blue with blucerchiata bands on the sides, and the royal blue socks have a white upper band and the blucerchiata band across the middle.
The shirt comes in slim fit and, like all kits produced by Macron for its club partners, is made from Eco Fabric: 100% polyester obtained from the recycling of post-consumer plastic. Specifically, the fabric used is Eco Exalock, and thanks to the back panel in Eco Micromesh and inserts in Eco Mesh, the garment ensures both lightness and excellent breathability.
The new Away kit, along with other apparel and accessories from the merchandising line created by Macron for U.C. Sampdoria, is available at Samp City, the Macron Sports Hub in Genova, on the club’s official website, and in the dedicated blucerchiati section on macron.com.
