Sale Sharks, one of the oldest and most representative rugby clubs in the United Kingdom, have unveiled their new 2025/26 Home Kit designed and produced by Macron, which the English side will wear during the upcoming season alongside the Away version already revealed. A shirt steeped in tradition yet with a significant graphic element paying tribute to the territory the team represents: Greater Manchester, and in particular the area of Sale, south of the River Mersey.
The new 2025/26 Sale Sharks Home shirt comes in a dark shade of blue, with a V-neck and off-white sleeve edges that add a retro touch to the kit. The sides of the shirt are enhanced by a sublimated graphic depicting part of the map of Greater Manchester, the area of which Sale is a part.
On the chest, both in off-white and sublimated print, are the Macron Hero on the right and the Sale Sharks crest on the left. On the back, at the bottom of the shirt, embossed and tone-on-tone, is the shark fin – the club’s symbol – accompanied by the date 1861, the year the club was founded. Also at the bottom of the shirt, externally, appears a repeated sublimated tone-on-tone graphic reading Sale Sharks 1861, interspersed with the shark fin.
The inner collar is personalised with a label featuring the dark-blue background of the shirt, over which appears in off-white the same map design as on the shirt’s sides. In the foreground are the English club’s crest, the wording Sale Sharks 1861, the Macron logo, and the phrase ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying and highlighting how every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus, home of the Italian brand.
The Home kit is completed with dark-blue shorts, which also feature the map graphic on the sides, and dark-blue socks with an off-white horizontal stripe at the top border and the shark fin symbol at calf height, alongside the wording 1861.
The new 2025/26 Sale Sharks Home Kit comes in a body fit and, like all technical garments Macron produces for its clubs, is made of Eco Fabric, 100% polyester derived from post-consumer recycled plastic. The main fabric used is Eco Armevo, with inserts in Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh ensuring high performance and durability, along with lightness and perfect breathability. The new kit, along with the apparel line created by Macron for Sale Sharks, is available in the section dedicated to the English club on macron.com.
