After the presentation of the Home and Away kits, the first since the beginning of the technical partnership, Macron and Vélez Sarsfield also unveiled the new Third kit of the Argentine champion club. The kit, which made its debut in the league match against Gimnasia, won 1-0, represents a further tribute to the 115 years of life of El Fortin, but also to the Italian roots that the club proudly displays and which represent a further link with Macron.
Vélez Sarsfield’s new Third shirt is light blue with a white knitted mandarin collar and two-button fastening. The sleeve edges feature the green-white-red tricolour band, a clear reference to Vélez’s close ties with Italy as the club was founded in 1910 by a group of boys of Italian origin. A bond that has been further strengthened thanks to the partnership with Macron, a company with an international vision but with a strong identity and strong Italian roots, expressed on each garment of the brand thanks to the writing ‘Designed in Bologna’, which certifies that each garment is conceived, designed and developed on the Macron Campus.
The shirt features a sublimated graphic composed of concentric and broken lines in a darker blue and an embossed motif on the whole jersey composed of the Vélez logo in a retro version. The logo, also applied on the chest, echoes that used by the team in the period between 1926 and 1930, and is certainly one of the other striking elements of this Third kit. Also on the chest, to the right and in white, is the Macron Hero. On the back of the jersey, on the outer back neck, are printed, in white, the two dates 1910 and 2025 with, in the middle, the special club logo with the number 115 to celebrate this special anniversary.
The new Third Kit of Vélez Sarsfield, as previously the Home and Away and all the game sets produced by Macron for its partner clubs, are made of Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic. The main fabric used is Eco Softlock and the Eco Micromesh panel in the back together with Eco Mesh inserts ensure lightness and improve breathability.
