Dragons Catalans, the French rugby club from Perpignan and the only non-English team to play in the Betfred Super League – the top European championship for 13-a-side club rugby – presented the new Home Kit designed by Macron for the upcoming season. The red and yellow of the ‘Senyera’, the Catalan flag, and the dragon that dominates the club’s logo clearly express the Catalan identity of Perpignan. Complementing this strong sense of identity is a clear commitment to the environment: Macron has made the new kits in Eco-Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic.
The new Dragons Catalans Home shirt is white and has a crew neck with a neckband decorated with red and yellow graphics representing the flames of the dragon. The same motif appears elsewhere on the shirt too, including on a V on the chest, on the sleeves and at the bottom of the shirt back. All these parts are dye-sub printed with the dragon flame motif in red and yellow. The coat of arms of Perpignan is reproduced on the right of the chest, with a black Macron Hero in the middle and the Dragons Catalans logo on the left. The shorts are white with red and yellow flame motifs on the sides. The socks are white with a top band made up of alternating and gradually fading stripes of red and yellow, and with a black Macron Hero above the ankle.
The jersey has a Body Fit fit and is made mainly from Eco-Armevo with Eco-Boditex inserts for reduced weight and superior performance, strength and breathability. The new Dragons Catalans Home Kit can be purchased from the section of the macron.com website dedicated to the club.
